You can use auction finance to purchase a wide range of property types including residential homes, buy to let properties, commercial properties, semi-commercial or mixed-use properties, HMOs, multi-unit properties or blocks of flats. You can also use auction finance to purchase land, with or without permission.  

If you are just using one property as the security for the loan, then you will typically need to put down at least 25% to secure auction finance. Although this will depend on the lender that you choose and your individual financial circumstances.
